Manish Poddar is the CEO of PIC Sapleston Stone and Executive President In Poddar
Industrial Consultants. He was born into a business family and at very Young age given lot
of responsibility in the business. He graduated in Commerce with Distinction. From starting
only his aim was to discover new innovative products in different field. In 1985 there was a
major diversification in the company. It ventured into exports of brass archietectural hardware
and natural stone products. Company expanded its Export business of brass hardware with
special emphasis on natural stone products of Granite, marble, sandstone, limestone, slate
& others. It was in 1991 when the company made its presence felt on the international scene
When Its products were recognized in International Hardware Fair, Stone+Tech in Germany,
London Stone Show in UK.
With his ambition to find new products he started with the export of Cobbles made from
The Mines waste in the year 1994. These cobbles were all hand made without using any
Machine And captured a big market by 2000. By this product he could convert the quarry
waste to a foreign exchange Earning product which have contributed lot in the countries
foreign exchange earnings. He is widely travelled worldwide and have gained experience
and seen new products.
It was in 2007, in a seminar named Global Stone Technology Forum was attended by him in
Jaipur. Here he listened to the speech given by well known & reputed Architect – Mr. Hafeez
Contractor, where he Mentioned that we should develop some REAL STONE VENEER which can be applied and used at various Application and this would give a new horizon
to the interior concept. As stone is loved by most of the people But cannot be used at some
places due to its nature and weight. Natural stone building material have always Been a
popular choice. They enhance the beauty of any space and create a feeling of luxury that we
