We would like to purchase 100/kg whole root American Ginseng Panax Quinquefolius (400/kg annually).Currently we purchase domestically a product called 'Field-Run' American Ginseng. We are unhappy with the quality. The biggest problem with 'Field-Run' Ginseng is that the farmer heavily fertilizes the plant which causes it to whiten, grow abnormally large and disproportional, imparting a bad taste and making it to look more like a Carrot then natural healthy american ginseng. A phytosanitary certificate is mandatory and an emailed proof copy is required before negotiations. If you feel your product matches our description kindly email to us a couple of pictures and the phytosanitary certificate. We will buy the whole root including: 1) Rhizome 2) Root 3) Tail 4) Prongs 5) Fiber The roots must be whole (uncut). Chemical treatments. We would prefer no chemicals but can import either one. just let us know what chemicals have been applied and we will check with US Customs to see if it will pass.
