Gel nail extensions now has many supporters. First of all, due to the ease and speed of application of the gel material. Gel technique can be used to model both the natural nail and the nail on tips or form.How to do the one-phase gel nail extension using the tips?1) Before starting the gel nail extension we have to make a visual assessment of the health of nails. All kinds of skin lesions, allergies, redness or unspecified changes around the nail are a contraindications of doing the nail extensions.2) Always star from disinfecting your own hands and your clients hands too. – it is good if you are working in disposable gloves.3) If it is necessary, move the cuticles with wooden stick – you can cut it with metal cuticle nippers.4) File the nails and shorten them to minimum. Mattify the nail plate with fine-grained nail file (180/240)5) Select the right size of tips. Stick it to the nail. Shorten to desired length. File (Mattify) the entire tips to blur the line between the tips and the natural nail. Remove the dust. Wipe the nails with cleaner.6) On prepared nail apply thin layer of one-phase Clear gel (Base One Clear). Cure in UV lamp for 2 min. Apply a ticker layer of gel – the “so-called” building layer once building and modeling the shape of the nail. Cure in UV lamp for 2 min. Wipe the dispersion layer with cleaner.7) File the gel giving it the desired shape – remember about the c-curve and maintaining the hair line. Apply thin layer of shining gel – depending on preferences, you can use the same one-phase gel or special shining gel ex. Base One Finish. After curing in UV lamp (2 min.) wipe with cleaner.
