Yunnan Dianhong Group Co.Ltd. was founded in 1939. In December 1996, after being approved by the Economic System Reform Committee of Yunnan Province, it expanded into a limited liability company with five shareholders, with the state being the biggest shareholder, After two capital restructurings in 2001 and 2003, it has been a joint stock private company limited to 16 shareholders. It has registered capital of 30.93 million RMB and total asset value of 130 million RMB. It possesses organic tea gardens covering an area of 3334 hectares, of which 734 hectares passed the IMO organic authentication of Switzerland. It has 86 preliminary tea-processing workshops and more than ten tea-blending worklines. It provides more than 130 types of tea products, include Yunnan Black Leaf, Black Orthodox, CTC , Green Tea, Pu-erh Tea, Compressed Tea, Jasmine Tea, Gourmet Teas, Tea Bags and Instant Teas. It has an annual tea-processing capacity of some 10000 tons with an annual output value of over 100 million RMB. It earns foreign currencies of over five million USD each year through tea exports. Apart from tea production. It is engaged in scientific research associated with tea products. It is a leading enterprise in China Tea Community as well as famous-brand tea provider in China.
