The base of procedure in case of HeFaTherm is the continuous change, lift and decrease of temperature. The main difference is that during the treatment procedure, the so far not applied help of catalysts the woods’ cellulose structure in complete cross-section is changing, therefore the cellulose will be more stable. Opposed to other procedures, the cell structure does not explode, but closing, this way the wood water intake capacity is significantly decreasing.
The catalysts, which participate in the treatment process, assisting in an extremely complicated reaction, but do not infiltrate into the wood itself, so they can be utilized unrestrictedly.
The catalyst applied materials are harmless to human, animal, its closed circuit application adheres to the strict environmental specifications.
