The aim is to produce ceramics of the world standards...
Termal Ceramics standarted production aiming to produce glazed wall tiles for internal use, glazed floor tiles for internal and external use with 50% of its capacity in June 1997 and reaching full capacity by March 1998. Production of borders and decorative tiles started in May 1998.
The factory building occupies 30.000 m2, with an additional area of
480.000 m2 of land. The production capacity is 15.000.000 m2 in floor tiles and 10.000.000 m2 in wall tiles. Totalling 25.000.000 m2 per annum. There is an additional 1.000.000 m2 capacity of third firing decoration.
The production metod; Floor tiles are sing fast fired at 1200 oC, while wall tiles are double fast fired 1130 oC. When producing tiles with decorative tiles 11 applications are done including glazing. The whole process is computerised.
Floor tiles are produced in according to the specifications The TSE-EN 176 BI, wall tiles to that of TSE-EN 159.The quality of the products is certificated both by The Turkish Standards Institute and by The German Saurefliesner-Vereinigung E.V. DIN SFV certificate.
Having a well established history in the industrial sector neccessitated The Termal Companies group to set out on this new venture with ambitious targets aiming at producing at world standards and obtaining a place among leading domestic and foreign brands.
