LASENOR has championed SUNFLOWER LECITHIN as a feasible alternative to standard Soya IP Lecithin in virtue of its considerable advantage such as absence from GMO and allergens.

The quality of LASENOR GIRALEC range (Sunflower Lecithin) has improved greatly in the last few years thanks to an ongoing work on the Oil extractor plants as well as in our standarisation plant.
Application tests comparing LECITHIN from various origins mainly Soya, Sunflower and Rapeseed has showed a very similar performance. This is linked to a similar percentage of Phospholopid responsible for emulsifiying and dispersing properties of Lecithin.
