SOLID STATE SYSTEMS (P) LTD incorporated in 1972 manufactures Metallised Polypropylene Film Capacitors which are used in Air Conditioners, Washing Machines Lighting Fixtures, Fans, single phase pumps, general purpose fractional horse power electric motors, Gensets, Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), constant voltage transformers (CVT), etc. It also produces Metallised Polypropylene Film which is used in capacitor manufacture.The Company is primarily an OEM supplier and among the major customers in India are: CRI, Chola Pumps, Best Engineers, Sharp Industries, Carrier Aircon, Voltas, Kirloskar Brothers, GE Motors, Lubi Pumps, Godrej Washing Machines, Advantech, Wipro, CGL, Emerson etc.
Exports constitute about 70% of the company’s turnover.Our quality systems have been certified as conforming to ISO 9001:2008 by Underwriters Laboratories Inc., USA . We have also received UL Certification for our Aluminium as well as our plastic case capacitors and our Ul file no. E219202. We have UL approval only for Design and Construction.
