Our company, S.C.R.- Sibelco N.V ., along with its world-wide network of affiliated companies, is a family owned Belgium based multinational company, active in the production of industrial minerals . Our products are mainly produced in Belgium, and are exported to major producers worldwide.
We provide our products in 25 kg bags on pallets or in big bags of +/- 1 ton, which can be easily shipped in 20' containers. Our plant is located close to the port of Antwerp, which gives excellent connections with the main ports all over the world.

Our products are mainly based on Silica/Quartz. Purified quartz sand (high purity, nodular shape) and silica flours (in a range with D50 going from 80 down to 2 microns) are used for a wide variety of applications into glass, foundry, ceramics, construction, sports & leisure, paints, plastics, .... Millisil® & Sikron® are important brand names for our silica flours.
In our Mol-plant in Belgium we have also installed a rotary furnace in which we produce Sibelite® ( Cristobalite ) out of silica sand. Cristobalite is a modified crystal structure of silica and its main characteristics are the extremely high whiteness (L-value +- 98), inertness and high purity with no organic elements. This product can be used for specific applications into silicone rubbers, paints, adhesives, artificial marble, precision casting, waterglass, plastics, .... Sibelite® is our brand name for the cristobalite, the product is available as Cristobalite Sand (0,3 mm.) and several Cristobalite Flours ranging from 80 down to 2 microns.
