SC SEA CONTAINER SHIPPING SRL was founded in 2004 in Bucharest as being the sales & marketing office for SEA CONTAINER SERVICES GROUP.In short time, the main activity was extended and other two departments were created:
-Freight Forwarding Department - Direct cooperation with Emes Shipping Ltd. Istanbul head-office and with the local agents for the main shipping companies represented in Romania
-Liner agent for National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia.
-Chartering Department specialized in arranging the carriage of various dry cargoes, including oversized stuff , covering various worldwide routes starting from Black Sea.
SEA CONTAINER SHIPPING can arrange delivery of cargo to consignees or to carriers when the cargo will be transshipped / forwarded to other ports / places in accordance with the Container Line’s instructions and the Bill of Lading issued by or on behalf of the Container Line.
SEA CONTAINER SHIPPING has contracts with truck and rail operators in Romania, providing both a high-quality transportation in a maximum 24 hours period and all necessary documents, including insurance for containers and for the cargo.
SEA CONTAINER SHIPPING has a special department that issues all necessary documents (subsequent released to the Container Line and to the clients) for loading / unloading containers in accordance with Romanian law and Rules and Regulations of Constantza Port Authorities.
SEA CONTAINER SHIPPING is directly responsible for container inventory and control in its area (Romania), reporting daily (or as agreed with the Container Line and with the client) on containers movement and weekly (or as agreed with the Container Line) on container stock (full & empty).
SEA CONTAINER SHIPPING is the warrant in the collaboration with the Shipping Lines, for collecting the freight, local charges, detention/demurrage charges and/or any other money due and payable in the area (from the clients in Romania) and promptly remit it to the Carrier head-office by fax and / or e-mail, keeping an up-dated situation in electronic format.
SEA CONTAINER SHIPPING is the representative and image of the Principal in Romania:
investigates, informs and represents in front of authorities the Principal in case of damage occurrence on ships, containers or cargoes.
does its best to protect the Principal’s interests and to solve all the possible problems of his clients
hire in the name of the Principal 's, professionals (maritime lawyers) to solve out all claims / damages, etc.
