About Us
Dear Sir/Madam,
OJSC “Pava” (before June 2005 the company was known as OJSC “Agro-Industrial Company “Khleb Altaya”) is one of the Russia’s largest processors of wheat. The company is engaged in procuring, transporting, storing and merchandising agricultural commodities and products, such as wheat, wheat flour, semolina, bran and different types of groats (barley, fine-ground barley, buckwheat, pearl-barley, peas and other). Today, the company’s share is 40% of total flour production output in Altay region or 3 -5 % of total flour output produced in Russia. The flour manufactured by Pava is famous for its quality and high environmental characteristics.
The company has three milling plants, each with its own modern cylinder-shaped concrete terminal (“elevator”) for storage and shipment of grain. Products shipped from the mills leave by rail as each plant has its own rail-line. Two of the plants are located in Altay region and the third one is in Krasnoyarsk region, in Achinsk. Production lines of Pava’s milling plants are equipped with machinery, produced under the licence of “Buhler” company (Switzerland), a world leader of milling equipment manufacturing. The plants are equipped with automatic filling and packaging lines produced by “Tauras-Phoenix” company (St. Petersburg, Russia), “ICA” company (Italy) and “Fawema” company (Germany). The production process is automatically controlled. Production capacities of the three milling plants make it possible to process 1500 ton of grain per day or over 350 000 ton per year.
In Russian market the company sells flour under its own trademarks: “Altay-Batyushka” and “Pava” through the distribution network and own regional wholesale warehouses network in more than 68 regions of the country.
