Bastar district of Chhattisgarh state of India is one of the riches districts of India. It has lush green forests with wildlife, rivers waterfalls, caves and above all rich tribal culture. There are many tribes and each of them are expert in some form of art like terracotta, wood carving, bamboo work, jute work and bell metal items.
These are actually different items still used by tribal population in their day to day life like religious rituals, festivals, household etc but to us they are unique artifacts. All the items are hand made by hand made tools by tribal or adivasis and are still used widely across the Bastar district.
