Mile began its commercial activity in November 1998, its main profile was the buying and selling of banking technology equipment. The hundred percent Hungarian-owned company, a family-run business in the beginning, due to the
purposeful market research, the open and flexible sales line, and the ready to learn maintenance service has soon grown too big for dealing with only the resale of home manufactured products. The expansion of the internet, the contracts with the most significant subcontractors, regular visits to fairs and the winning of agile, challenge searching colleagues have all contributed to the success of the company. The extending customer base consists of different financial institutes, department store chains and other commercial companies. The constant orders of these companies and the more and more complex inquiries involved the establishment of Mile Banking Technology Ltd. in August, 2001.
Due to the firm cooperation with the different financial institutions, and because of the potential future challenges the management decided to extend its activities with the sales of mechanical security equipment, such as, the buying and selling of safes, fire-proof file cabinets, safes with time lock.
The young, ambitious and ready to develop Mile staff soon became successul in this field, too. Our turnover and return from sales has multiplied by 2002, our equipment, infrastructure and car fleet is expanding and being modernized continuously. Our position on the market is becoming more and more powerful. Year by year we are invited to take part in different bank tenders in which we fulfill the requirements more and more successfully.
Besides fulfilling the requirements of the financial institutions we also place special emphasis on keeping in touch with our old customers coming from other areas, even if they do not order products in large quantities. Our experienced salesmanagers are well aware of their clients’ financial circulation, money handling and file storing habits, furthermore they also know their customers’ operation systems and legal requirements. Offering a wide range of products we are working hard to meet the requirements of our customers.
It is almost obvious that our clients’ requirements and the openness to new challenges generated further expansions. In October 2002 we extended our activities with the planning, installing and maintaining of electronical property protection and security systems, which means that we can offer complex solutions for opening offices, shops, and bank branches.
In order to be able to fulfill legal requirements and be able to manage the different activities, the owners established a seperate company, Mile Security Ltd, for installing, planning, and the buying and selling of alarm systems, CC TV-s, fire alarms and other electronical property protection. Orders aiming this field arrive from both ultimate users and primary contractors, thus our customer base is rather far flung and more and more prominent Hungarian and international companies appear on our reference lists.
In this field we also try to keep pace with market challenges therefore we place huge emphasis on our employees’ training and getting to know the several novelties of the international market. Our colleagues are all skilled proffessionels, including the projectors and installing personnel, who in order to be able to represent properly the manufacturers’ novelties update their knowledge in trainings, courses and seminars.
Our leaders regularly visit the Hungarian and international security fairs, and search for competitive novelties.
