Magnesium Oxide food grade Physicochemical Properties:
White amorphous powder, odorless, smell-less and nontoxic. It is soluble in acid and ammonium salt solution, difficult to dissolve in water, and insoluble in alcohol. And can be changed into crystal by high-temperature burning above 1000 degree, and into dead-burned magnesium oxide or sintered magnesium oxide above 1500 degree . When meeting with carbon dioxide in the air, it shall produce basic magnesium carbonate.
Use: Used as food additive, color stabilizing agent and pH regulating agent or supplement of magnesium element in food, and also can be accelerating agent.
