The Plug & Play ready hardware solution is interposed between the mail server and the incoming e-mail traffic and doesn’t even let spam, viruses, worms and Trojans hit the server. With the integrated up2date service the signatures of the antispam and antivirus engines are updated hourly. Graphically processed statistics are demonstrating the effectiveness of the solution and enhance the communication by their transparency. The analysis mechanisms contain a twelve-level antispam mechanism and two independent antivirus-engines.
Our central antispam-head office analyses spam and checks the techniques of spammers. The results are distributed hourly via the up2date network and keep the Limes AS current. Thus the underground_8 appliance users are safe from outbrakes, visual and pdf-spam.
