What is Rating?

Rating system is the evaluation of members, by other members. This system is
designed to let members share their positive or negative experiences by
selecting “image positive” or “image negative” and leaving a short feedback.
The rating that members leave for one another helps in deciding which companies
to do business with.

How do I rate a company?

Before you can rate any particular company you must:

1. Be a Toboc member
2. Receive at least 1 message from the company that you would like to rate

Note: you can only rate a particular company once

By satisfying the above criteria you are ready to rate a company.
There 2 different ways to leave feedback:

1. By clicking on “ Rate this Company” button in the message that you receive
   from that particular company
   
   
   
   
2. By clicking on the “Leave your feedback” button on the profile page of the
   particular company.
   
   
   
   

Once you have clicked on the “Leave your feedback” button you can select either
a positive or a negative rating. You will also be able to leave your comments
in the feedback box.

               

Can I modify feedback that I have already left?

Yes. Any feedback can be modified at any time by clicking on edit button that is next
to the comment that you left for that particular company.

What does positive rating score means?

When one member rates another member, a positive or negative feedback is
assigned. The ratio between positive and negative feedback is presented as
a “positive feedback” percentage score.

In the example above a member has received 16 feedback messages from
16 different members. 15 of the 16 messages are positive and 1 message
is negative. Therefore, 15/16=94% is the total positive feedback score.

Who are trusted members?

Members that have received a minimum of 5 ratings and obtained a positive feedback
score of 90%, or more, are given a Trusted Seal. The Trusted Seal represents a
company that has received positive feedback from other Toboc members and
earned their trust

How does rating affect my ranking?

A minimum of 5 feedbacks required before rating can affect ranking

Positive feedback score will affect the ranking of the company. The lower the positive
feedback score drops, the less stars the profile will have.

Positive feedback score:

90-100% - 0 stars removed
80-89% - 1 star removed
60-79% - 2 stars removed
40-59% - 3 stars removed
20-39% - 4 stars removed
0-19% - 5 stars removed

Example: A member has uploaded enough information to receive 3 ranking stars,
then after receiving 5 feedbacks from other members he obtains a positive feedback
score of 80%. 1 star will be removed from his ranking because 80% falls into a category
of 80-89%. Now this company has 2 stars.

NOTE: minimum ranking any member can have is 0 stars. This means that if the member has a ranking
of 3 stars and after receiving a positive feedback score of 20% he will get 4 stars removed which
will leave him with -1 star. His ranking will remain at 0 since negative ranking is not displayed.
