Kingboard (Fogang) Special Resin Co., Ltd is a large scale chemical corporation invested by Kingboard Chemical Holdings Limited, and the construction started in 2003. It is now the production base of triplex glass used PVB resin and film for the Group in China. Its scale of production and technical standard is among the top in China. The company develops its own technical skills which are protected by intellectual property rights. Kingboard Chemical Holdings Ltd. ('Kingboard Chemical') is one of the world’s largest laminates manufacturer. Since the establishment of its first laminates manufacturing facility in 1988, the Group has been proactively engaging in both vertical and horizontal development. The Group now operates more than 40 manufacturing facilities, turning out a large spectrum of products ranging from paper laminates to PCB, chemicals, copper foil, glass fabric, glass yarn, bleached kraft paper, liquid crystal displays and magnetic products.
In 1993, Kingboard Chemical was listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Kingboard Copper Foil Holdings Limited, the Group's subsidiary, was spun off for a separate listing on The Singapore Stock Exchange in December 1999. In November 2004, the Group successfully acquired Elec & Eltek International Holdings Limited as part of a strategic expansion plan.
