Kaiphone group, established in 1979, is a well-organized large-scale enterprise of communication and protective products with research and development, manufacture, marketing and service. It is enriched with strength of scientific research, advanced detective means, fine sales network and service, sound ISO international quality management system.
Kaiphone originates from Taiwan more than 20 years so far. It comes from zero to nowadays, from small to large, carries out spanning development in such aspects as scientific and technical innovation, manufacturing, market enlargement and technological service. It also successfully builds up close cooperation with many international and domestic famous enterprises such as: Alcatel, Anritsu, Ascom Monetel, Intracome, Marconi, Schlumberger , China Mobile, China Telecom, China shipping industry group etc.
At present, Kaiphone mainly includes communication and protective applications, the products as : Series of public phone spare part the IC card, optical communication product series, armored conduits and traffic signal lamps. Worldwide sales networks list as East and south-eastern Asia, Europe and pan America.

1979 Establishment of Kaiphone Communication Co., Ltd. Development of peripheral products of public phone of IC card include: handset, keypad, hook switch, armored cable assembly and card reader.
1992 Authentication of ISO9001 international quality management system, sales networks of 36 countries and regions globally, gaining plenty of patents, becoming a main supplier of spare part of IC card public phone in the world.
1993 Depending on the technique of armored cable assembly plus introduction of Germany's advanced technology and equipment, development of flexible metal conduits for safe protection to electricity.
1997 Joining " association of interchanging technology of communication" that held by China Productivity Centre in 1997. Making an investment in Dongguan and setting up factory of Public Elec. Co., Ltd. to increase total capacity of production, with capital HKD 10 million, 180 staff's, land's area 20, 000M2. Main products: The peripheral products of public phone of IC card.
1998 Making an investment in Human and Setting up a hardware and plastics plant. Main products: the peripheral products of public phone of IC card. R&D for metal flexible conduits, in compliance with flourishing development of telecommunication industry and electric safety industry in China.
2000 Setting up Kaiphone Opticon Co., Ltd. of Dongguan in 2000, introducing production equipment and technology of optical communication, manufacturing the series of mini armored fiber optic cables. Wide applications to CO communication, military communication, broadcast and television network, communication transmission in the projects of subway, bridge, tunnel etc. and temperature sensing extensively.
2001 Starting R&D of UL certified flexible protective metal tube for electrical safety, solution of terminating application to optical communication products and the road traffic safety products
2002 Making an investment and setting up Kaiphone optical electric Technologies Co., Ltd. of Dongguan in September 2002, capital HKD 50 million, 300 staff, annual sales turnover HKD180 million, annual growth up to 30%. Depending on the professional integration of optical-electricity at the same time, finishing the research and development of the road traffic safety products, and launching in the international market rapidly.
2003 Gaining certificate of ISO 9001: 2000 international quality system. Flexible protective metal tube passed the authentication of CCS, UL and China international standard authentication.
