The Laser-Instrument JZC, inclusive of its digital target display (data target and data analysis target) and reflector components, replaces the plumbing technique used previously for lift installation. It belongs to the group of laser type geodimeters and is used wherever vertical and horizontal reference values are required. The Laser-Instrument is fitted with a liquid- -based self-alignment system. This makes it possible to create a laser beam which is plumb in the centre when directed at a vertical object. With the aid of a digital target and a reflector, it is possible to measure vertical and horizontal deviations with the utmost precision. The self-checking of the Laser-Instrument cuts down the possibility of the inaccurate measuring. The laser is a Class 2 laser device and conforms to the European standard EN 60825.
