The Company, established in 1946, was the first farm producing high quality buffalo cheese in Italy.
Since that time, the Farm has faced the market challenges cleverly by characterizing itself for special focus on innovation.
In particular, thanks to t he introduction of the buffalo frozen mozzarella cheese in its production in 2000, the Company was the first – and is still the only one in Italy – in offering at the same time such a high quality product, a long du ra ti on c he es e an d th e po ss ib il it y of d ef rosting only the needed quantity.
Nowadays the Company counts 2,700 buffaloes bred in its 2 farms located in Pastorano (nearby Caserta and Naples) and Sezze (nearby Latina) whe re t he f arm land is cult ivat ed f or f odde ring the liv esto ck.
T he C ompa ny, runned by 3 brothers - known as the best Italian breeders of the Mediterranean buffalo race - is famous worldwide not only for its mo zzarel la che ese pr oducte d with the b uffalo milk, but a lso fo r its high q uality stand ards s anitary and hy genic contro ls in both its ranches and in the production plant.
Thanks to the mentioned quality system, the Farm gai ned
- the Morr arella d i Bufala Campana D.O.P. certific ate (an Italian certific ate stat ing that the pro duct is realized i n a defi ned geog raphic a rea acco rding to ruled local standard procedures and ingredie nts)
