Hunan Vanguard Group Co., Ltd. is founded in 1890, its headquarters is located in Chenxi County, Hunan Province, with a long history of more than 120 years. Our company has the existing assets of USD100 million, with a total floor area of 8.13 million square meters, including a building area of 750 thousand square meters. We have 3148 sets of total equipment and more than 3,000 personnel, among whom, more than 400 are engineers and technicians.
We mainly produce about 200 sorts of middle and small scale hydraulic turbines in 5 series, which are Tubular types, Propeller/Kaplan types, Francis types, Turgo types, and Pelton types for high, middle and low heads, and also vertical, horizontal and bulb generators of more than 100 sorts in 8 series, of which the maximum unit capacity is 50MW. Besides, we also provide matched excitation boards, control boards, gate valves, governors, and pen stocks, as well as package services of equipment transmission, installation, debugging and generating.
Our products sell well throughout our country and are exported to Vietnam, Myanmar, Kazakhstan, Laos, Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, North Korea, Pakistan, Turkey and other countries.
We has been devoted to the research and development of the products and reserve of talents since establishment, and have established long-term technological cooperation with more than ten institutions of higher learning such as Central South University and Hunan University. In 2002, we invested USD 20 million in setting up a national class research and development center in Changsha.
Our company has set up a rigorous and perfect quality management system and passed the evaluation of ISO9001 (2000) international quality assurance system. Our company has advanced testing and analyzing means and has been awarded the certificates of "national first-class metering institution" and "national second-class physical-chemic institution" by relevant ministries.
