The Channel Monster XD sewerage grinder is built to handle the heavy slugs of solids and trash typically found flowing into pump stations and provides outstanding protection for pumps. The newest version of the Channel Monster XD has larger shafts, bigger cutters and heavy duty coil screening drums to handle large solids. The powerful dual shafted cutter stack pulls in solids such as wood, rocks, trash, rags and other debris, and reduces it to small particles that easily flow through downstream pumps and pipes. The now reduced material can be removed downstream at the treatment plants inlet works, thus reducing screening and handling problems at the pump stations. An optional 3-drive motor offers independent sensing and auto-reversing features. The Channel Monster XD was created to last well beyond standard machinery tolerance levels and to perform for years in extreme pump station conditions. JWChas a full range of pump station grinders for wastewater flows from 100 to 5700 m3/h.
