Deepak International Ltd. started as : Deepak Industries" in 1950 and is presently one of the top 5 exporters of Bicycles & parts in India.
In the year 99, it received ISO-9002 accreditation from SGS United Kingdom and subsequently in the year 2004 ISO 9001:2000 accreditation from DNV Norway.
For the past 6 years, it has achieved and maintained the status of "Trading House" given by Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India thus becoming one of the few companies in Bicycle trade, through out India, to receive this coveted recognition.
Deepak organization started in 1950 with a factory to manufacture Bicycle Parts for the Indian market, to substitute the bicycle parts which were hitherto being imported from England. In the year 1970 it started exporting bicycle parts to neighbouring countries and set up an Export House named as DEEPAK INTERNATIONAL LIMITED.
Now the group is not only confined to the exports of Bicycles, it has diversified it activities to a long way and started to spread its wings over a more wide area of activities. Presently it exports Bicycles, Bicycle Parts, accessories for Two Wheelers, Motor Cycle Parts, Tyres & Tubes, Nut Bolts, Fasteners, and other Hardware items like Hand tools, Garden Tools, fixtures &fittings and food products like Biscuits, Confectionery, Tomato Paste & Monosodium Glutamate.
To further diversify its activities, the group has started a separate division names as NCP Division in the year 2005 with a comprehensive product range of Transmission Belts like Conveyor Rubber Belt, Flat Transmission Rubber Belting, Vee Belts, Link V Belts, Hair Belt, Fasteners, Jointing Gasket Sheets (Both Asbestos & Non Asbestos) etc.
Subsequently, the group ventured into establishing its various sub-offices and representative offices in Brazil, Poland, West Africa and Ukraine. It is presently exporting various products to 45 countries around the globe.
To meet the challenges of globalization and opening of the world due to the new WTO regime, an office has been established in HANGZHOU in ZHEJIANG province of the Public Republic of China to cater to the ever increasing demands of the overseas customers who want an assortment of mixed items from China and India. The China office is fully equipped with qualified Engineers to perform Quality Control Inspection prior to shipment.
We have a complete engineering know how and equipment to design and develop items to the specific requirement of customers. We have undertaken complete Bicycle projects for European factories and supplied them specially designed Frames, Forks and other parts according to their designs. During the past 3 years, we have also undertaken the design and development of special Bicycle parts which are used in the Bicycles made in ex Soviet Countries.
Our regular and continuous participation in International Trade Fairs like, IFMA-Koln, EICMA-Milan, Bicycle Fair-Taipei, International Bicycle Show-Shangahi, Brazil Bike Show -Sao Paolo, etc. have brought us very close to our International Customers with whom we share an excellent rapport and work in tandem with them towards achieving their production and cost targets with timely deliveries!
