Charles Grant - A brief introduction
This year we are celebrating our 21st anniversary as a leading supplier of CCTV hardware. We specialise in the design and manufacture of camera housings, dome enclosures, CCTV columns, security enclosures and related products such as mounting brackets and anti-vandal cages. We produce both under our own label as well as under OEM agreements. Our customers are other CCTV equipment manufacturers, Security and Electrical wholesalers and system integrators and installers. You will find our camera housings in and around places like city and town centres, airports, train stations, sea ports, sports and concert venues, shopping centres and other industrial and commercial areas and buildings. With our manufacturing base being in the UK, over 40 per cent of our sales comes from international trade. Our European distribution centre is based in Saint Gobain, North France.

Research & development
R&D is at the core of our business delivering continuous product improvements, increased manufacturing efficiencies and new product introductions. We re-invest a substantial part of our revenues into further product development. As a result of this re-investment programme our R&D budget for 2003 / 2004 exceeds £750,000 (Euro 1.1 million) in line with our aim to become a leading innovator. We use Solidworks 2009 3D Cad systems to design and rapid prototype products and can design bespoke units when required.
