Sell Bowie-Dick Test Pack
ADACX Bowie-Dick test pack is designed to control steam penetration and air removal performance of pre-vacuum steam sterilizer. The Bowie-Dick test pack consists of a series of steam penetration barrier into which the chemical indicator sheet is placed.
During the pre-vacuum cycle, the air must be removed from the barrier and the steam must replace the air through out pack. A complete from yellow to black indicates adequate steam penetration. The uniform color change in some areas or no color change at all, which identify the air remove fault. If there is no color change of the indicator inside the pack after steam processing it is necessary to check the sterilizer and run a second Bowie-Dick test. The Bowie-Dick belongs to ISO 11140-1 CLASSS 2.
The Bowie-Dick test method
1: make sure the pre-vacuum steam sterilizer could be used
2: the Bowie-Dick test pack should be placed in the horizontal position.
3: the sterilizer run in steam sterilization process of 134?-3.5minutes or 121?-16.9minutes..
4: take out Bowie-Dick test pack after sterilized, check the color change and comply with result of sterilized.
