BESER was founded in 1963 and has grown to become the largest manufacturer of friction products in Turkey with a dominant position in its home market and a worldwide distribution network.
Today the business is still owned and run by the Beser family. It has expanded to three separate production facilities in Izmir, Turkey, employs over 800 people, and has a sales turnover in excess of $45 million.

Many different automotive and industrial friction products are manufactured within the group. Brake disc pads and brake linings are marketed under both the BESER and FERBE brands. Clutch facings, roll lining and industrial products are marketed under the AYSAN brand. Product ranges are extensive and are constantly being updated. The company retains a manufacturing flexibility envied by larger international competitors
Quality remains at the heart of everything we do and BESER is continually investing in its facilities to take advantage of new and changing technology. All of the BESER manufacturing facilities are accredited to TUV ISO 9001/2. Furthermore, the company has recently commissioned a comprehensive programme of brake pad testing to achieve the European Union EC-R90 quality standard.
