Our company, Khemi Trade, operates as a “BUYING HOUSE” for Importers of apparel industry, planning to buy / source from India at a reasonable & competitive pricing.
We are based in southern part of India - Chennai, the capital of Tamil nadu. By virtue of being in this trade for almost 12 years, we possess all the required expertise of handling a shipment.
(Bit -loom / desk loom approval to final shipment of the merchandise).
Our group of qualified personnel with adequate knowledge of garment manufacturing technology handle the production process to ensure desirable garment out-put.
We have good network of fabric suppliers both in India and a few in China & Thailand, besides engaging “GARMENT FACTORIES" approved by JC PENNY, FEDERATED & of similar buyers.
Our services:
1- Locating the appropriate Exporter / manufacturer, based on the garment category.
(We ensure the right kind of machines for garments involving complex operations)
2- Sample approvals for size, fit, & provide salesmen samples.
3- Fabric approvals for hand –feel, pattern & finish. (Both for bulk & desk –loom)
4 - Quote FOB prices, based on the fabric choice, Trims, & packaging required.
5-Supervise/ Monitor the production for quality parameters through our quality control inspectors. (AQL)
6-Regular updates on the status of productions and delivery schedules.
7-Ensure timely delivery.
8-Handle non-negotiable documents governing the shipments as per the terms of Letter of Credit.
Our Products
We deal in apparels of both Men & Women of Woven fabrics only.
The categories are: Shirts, Blouses, Shorts, Trousers, and pyjamas, to name a few.
The fabric range are: 100% cotton, Piece-dye, Yarn-dyed, Blends, Viscose, Poly/ cot, etc...
These could be in different weaves like, seer-sucker, plaids, herringbone, poplins, oxford, bedford, etc...
We work on a nominal commission basis of 5 to 7% of the FOB value and are occasionally negotiable based on the volume of Import merchandise.
Since all buying decisions are governed by the price, would suggest that you send us a "TECH PACK" of your current requirements & we would get you a quote.

Above prices are excluding our Commission.
LEAD TIME: 75 to 90 days from the date of all approvals or Letter of credit, whichever is later.
