Controller of Electromagnetic Retarder
The controller used on the electromagnetic retarder can efficiently reduce abrasion of brake lining, brake heating, tire burst, brake noise and brake impact, and efficiently reduce impact to the driveline of the vehicle and increase the life of the driveline, especially applying on the vehicles need brake frequently (mainly for the city bus).
The electromagnetic retarder controller is suitable for the heavy truck, inter-city bus and tourist bus because of with 6-stages hand control, air pressure sensor and the cruising function.
The electromagnetic retarder operating device (such as multi-stages control, linear air pressure sensor, cruise operating button) and inputted data (such as signal of speed, ABS, ASR and signal of low voltage) are inputted to the retarder controller which, after calculating and analyzing, will output certain cycle of impulse to control electrified time of on-off circuit of driving device of electromagnetic retarder, further control corresponding electrified current of electromagnetic coil group, consequently control brake torque of the retarder step less.
