U-16 U Tube Solar Collectors U-16 collector uses evacuated solar collector tube as the absorber tube, each tube is fitted with an aluminum contact fin which serves to be the heat transfer contact and also fixes the copper pipe against inner wall of the glass tube. The copper pipe is formed in an “U” shape, within which the collector fluid absorbs and transfers the heat to the collector header. U-16 collector header comprises two separate copper pipes, each one has been welded to one end of the “U” copper tube, and the pump selection ensures the optimum thermal transfer of the whole system. Advantages - Utilization all year round even in cold climates; - Can operate with water pressure up to 0.6MPa; - The collector will still operate in the event of occasional tube breakages; - Modular system means easy handling, installation and can be extended to cover larger areas; 7 panels can be connected in series. - Easy to install on roofs, balconies or fa?ades; - Can be combined with existing energy source; - Quasi-tracking in all seasons
