Buy Hospitality Products
To whom it may concern,
Our consortium, Isondo Group, operates in the South African market and we mainly focus on entrepreneurial ventures that seek solutions for challenges in the various sectors of our market. At the moment we are focusing on energy, water purification and hospitality ventures.
The main purpose of this correspondence is to identify suppliers, both internationally and locally, that could help us with strong brands of products for the hospitality industry. We are currently providing solutions to the ever-growing guest house service providers situated across the country. These products are all lowly priced items that adequately satisfy this niche.
One of our hotel chains has approached us to perform research and provide them with products that are well established brands, either locally or internationally. This hotel chain boasts brands ranging from the low-end 2-star to the premium 5-stars. We aim to find solutions for all these brands.
The products we require are as follow: -
1. Bath Soap, 30 and 40 grams,
2. Shampoos, 30ml,
3. Shower gel, 30ml,
4. Hair and body wash, 30ml,
5. Foam bath, 30ml,
6. Body moisturizer, 30ml.
For each of these products, we require a quotation based on the following: -
1. Unit price, CIF Johannesburg (International suppliers only), local suppliers would quote inclusive of transport to Johannesburg. Bottles used should be eco-friendly and flip-top.
2. Soaps should be eco-friendly flow-wrapped.
3. Minimum Order Quantity: The hotel chain we are dealing with sells in excess of one million room nights per annum. The brand that we are specifically seeking products for has 3700 rooms country-wide and an occupancy rate of 63%. For soaps (2 pieces, 30 and 40g), this amounts to approximately 140 000 pieces per month. We would order 150 000 pieces. For the other items, they amount to approximately 70 000 pieces per month. We would order 80 000 pieces per month. Also, take cognizance of the fact that this is based on only one brand within the chain and we aim to market them to the rest of the brands as well as other chains, 4-5 star guest houses and boutique hotels.
4. Clearly, this is volume business and we would appreciate pricing to be volume based and on a sliding scale basis.
5. Branding: All products will be as per your branding requirements. Consider this as an extension to your marketing as they will be displayed as such in each of the rooms of the service providers we sell to.
We are also aware that you may not have all these products in your portfolio and if this is so, we urge you to quote on those applicable to you. Further, if you believe that there are alternate business models that we can adopt to fulfill this need, please feel free to share this with us.
