Our firm was established by my late father Haj Leon Hagop Yeterian in 1953. It started as a sole proprietorship leading to a family business in the following stages. In the beginning our company dealt with importing used automobile spare parts. Later as the business grew, it also dealt with new automobile parts. In 1978 I took charge of the imports and sales, and enlarged our activities to include oil and fuel filters, additives, chemicals, and various brand new spare parts. In the early 80’s, we expanded our operations in New York U.S.A. with the assistance of my brother Wahe Yeterian to increase our operations with our foreign customers in a vertical and a horizontal manner. These activities are going on ever increasingly. In the early 90’s we established a vegetable oil producing and refining factory , producing corn seed oil, sun flower oil , nigella oil and others. Since the beginning we have several times modernized and automated our factory reaching higher potentials of quality and quantity. Since 5 years, when imports of cars were liberated and more reasonable in Syria, we entered this market successfully, and achieved a pretty well market share. At the moment we import various brands of cars, vans, and pick ups from Korea, China, Saudi Arabia and the Emirates. These vehicles are sold in our showrooms and distributed and sold to our agents and customers in the major cities and towns in Syria.
