We have great pleasure to introduce ourselves as the first private sector automatic mini steel plant in India to manufacture TMT Rebars through MECTHERM (Rapid Water Quenching System & Self-Tempering) process consulted and engineered by MECON LIMITED (A Govt. of India Enterprise) who has also supplied their Mactherm Technology to IISCo. Ltd. (A unit of SAIL) and Southern Iron & Steel Co. Ltd.. Meanwhile Mecon Limited is also being appointed project consultant for Tata Metaliks long product upcoming plant at Kharagpur (West Bengal) and Durgapur Steel Plant’s expansion plan. Even group like Arcelor-Mittal is taking assistance from Mecon Limited. In our mini steel plant at, Durgapur, West Bengal, we are producing both basic and special steel for domestic construction, engineering, power, railway, automotive and defense sectors and for sale in export market. We manufacture TMT Rebars under the brand name of “SHIVAM SURAKSHA” with the production capacity of 100 thousand tones per annum of CRS TMT/TMT Rebars/Wire Rods. We have integrated facilities like induction furnace, ladle refining furnace(LRF), continuous casting billet machine (CCBM), which produces 100/125 mm of mild steel square billets which are used for producing our finished products. Our products are equipped with ISI mark as well as ISO 9001:2000. We are also moving towards achieving ISO 14001 certification to make our manufacturing environment more eco-friendly. We want to draw your kind attention on modern and upgraded manufacturing process and testing facilities available at our plant which make us to serve you with Value Added Steel TMT Rebars & Wire Rods such as, A. Spectro Lab: This enables us to maintain the chemical composition as per desired properties of TMT & Wire Rods of different grades (Fe 415, Fe 500, Fe 550 & CRS TMT) B. 100 KN Universal Testing Machine: By which we can assure the physical properties of our TMT Rebars & Wire Rods (Range 8mm to 32mm) such as elongations, tensile, load test, bend test & rebend test. C. Hardness Testing Machine: This enables us to measure the hardness of the finished products. We have implemented a proper Pollution Control System to provide healthy working environment and pollution free society. Some of the pollution control systems are as follows: 1. Spark Arrestor for arresting sparks and dust particles from the immerged gases of Induction Furnace. 2. Suction Hood placed on the top of the furnace. 3. Spark arrestor along with dust setting hopper. 4. Bag filters along with dust settling hopper. We can customize our specifications according to your requirements for any bulk enquiry.
