Dear Sir, Indian Immunologicals Limited, is a wholly Owned Subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board in India and was set up in 1983 under the Operation Flood programme for manufacture of Foot and Mouth Disease vaccine with technical know – how obtained from Welcome Foundation Ltd., UK. We have, over the years, increased our product portfolio and we now make a large number of vaccines for various species of animals. Besides, we also manufacture and market a range of specialty animal health formulations. Indian Immunologicals Limited is the market leader in veterinary biologicals in India. We operate the second largest plant in the world for FMD vaccine and this plant is WHO-GMP and ISO-9002 certified. We export our veterinary vaccines to several parts of the world and we are also a registered supplier to Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO). The production unit and quality assurance laboratories of Indian Immunologicals Limited are furnished with State-of-the-art equipment and facilities. All procedures have been adapted to ensure production of quality products that meet International Pharmacopoeia Standards. Indian Immunologicals Limited produces a range of Cattle, Canine & Sheep vaccines as well as Animal Health Products and Feed Additives. With a large repository of various FMD strains maintained in our laboratory we are able to provide custom made vaccines for different territories as per the epidemiological requirement and customer’s choice.
