Shanghai Wind Rider Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd has been in the business of manufacturing and selling Electric Bikes since 2001. Our aim is to provide cost- effective, environmentally friendly, stress-free, personal transport for work and recreation. China is kingdom of bicycle, with the improvement of the living standard of people in china, more and more chinese people are now willing to purchase the electric bike to commute to work. Obviously, the electric bike has all the advantages of a regular bicycle: fun,exercise,free parking,zero emission,and freedom from traffic jams, whilst eliminating one of the bicycle's more serious drawbacks: lack of power. In 1998, there were only 100 000 electric bikes on China's roads. Statistics in 2005 showed that this figures exceeded 12 million. So we have every reason to trust that the electric bike - a conventional bike fitted with a motor, incorporated into a hub and equipped with a battery and charger - should be as useful to people all over the world as to the Chinese. We are faced with a challenge : the petrol price has been going up all the way; car emission is one of top contributors to air pollution, global warming, resource consumption and an uncertain energy future. On the contrary, the electrically assisted bicycle is perfectly smooth, quiet, clean and no gasoline at low running cost.
