Founded in 1992, WHK Mfg. & Trdg. Corp. pioneered in the field of residential and commercial water purification (REVERSE OSMOSIS) in the Philippines. In 1993, the first water store selling purified drinking water in the Philippines, Club Aspen (later renamed AQUAsafe), was opened along Pasong Tamo Extension, Makati City . This served as a test market store and was the basis of today's water store franchises. The company water stores now number more than 500 throughout the entire country. The success in this area of water station franchising has allowed WHK to claim its position as the undisputed leader in the water technology field in the Philippines. WHK also prides itself for having set up AQUAsafe bottling plant operations and franchises in Canada, Thailand, Indonesia, and Taiwan. Today, the company has thousands of customers including homes, hotels, restaurants and offices, hospitals, dialysis centers, pharmaceutical, mining, semi-conductor, and food & beverage plants, here and abroad. On the other hand, or subsidiary, DASC TRADING CORP., is engaged in the delivery of AQUAsafe pure drinking water. Again, our clients comprise of residential, commercial, as well as industrial users. Our state-of-the-art 40,000 Gallon/Day Bottling plant uses the latest in REVERSE OSMOSIS TECHNOLOGY in its purification process.
