O.C. Services was established in 1998 by Alan Green, who operated as a Manufacturing and Management Consultant and Interim Manager. Over recent years, the company has evolved into a network of Ex senior managers from industry, who work together to assist companies, particularly SMEs, to effect improvements within their businesses. We offer our “hands on involvement” rather than simply acting as advisors, and operate in a range of disciplines including; manufacturing, quality, management development, sales / customer management and sourcing ( UK and overseas and including collaborations and partnerships). We implement. We achieve this by using the ”hands on” skills, experience and contacts that we have developed operating at director/senior management level within engineering and manufacturing, and more specifically, within that most competitive of global of markets, the automotive component supply sector . Oversea Supply: Over the past 6 years, O.C. Services has developed relationships both on governmental and commercial levels with organisations within China, India and Turkey. This allows us to assist clients with the development of JVs, collaborations/partnerships, fully-managed component supply or straightforward purchasing. The Team: The team has a range of business/personal skills, to ensure that we can offer the most effective and comprehensive level of support to all of our clients. We offer support in areas such as: Management - Interim management, down-sizing, key projects Manufacturing - C.I. and Cost Down Programmes, Production Planning and Full Production Relocation (UK and Overseas) Purchasing/Logistics - Supplier management, transportation, packaging, market testing Sales & Marketing - Business development, Customer management Quality - Supply management (UK & Overseas), supplier assessment, sample approval Members of the team have previously held senior management roles within subsidiaries of organisations such as Rolls Royce PLC, British Steel (Corus), Delta, Ford, Cerro and Caparo Group O.C Services are NOT consultants.
