Atrium Design is a Romanian company based in Bucharest specialized in architectural and construction field. The company has been established in 1992 as an arhitectural company, founded by a family of architects. Later on, in a continue search of new, modern products to be included in our projects, the company has developed a new commercial department. In 1998, along with the current design business, Atrium Design has become the Romanian representative of a Swiss company – Jakob AG that produces architectural stainless steel cables and accessories. Half a year later we started to import and distribute the architectural products of a German company – Carl Stahl GmbH, (Posilock and XTend). Also in the same field we promote the display and advertising systems of Albion Design from England and wire meshes from GKD – Germany. Another field we have became involved in 2001 is lighting. We have started by representing Paulmann Licht – Germany and that later on we have expanded our offer by working with partners like Modiss Iluminacion – Spain, Vanlux – Spain, Andromeda Murano – Italy for decorative lighting and with ES-SYSTEM – Poland for technical lighting. We are a small but dynamic company and our strength is that we are able to offer the client not only the product but also the “solution”.
